UncommonIntelligence
Products
Three products so far. Together they cover a loop every organization runs: listening to the world, speaking to it and responding when it speaks back.
UWASA
Listen, to people and machines.
Uwasa is Japanese for rumor. It hears what the world is saying about your brand and what AI tells the world when the world asks. Discoverability today. Social listening next.
NO COAST
Speak, everywhere at once.
Local and co-op marketing rebuilt as if software had been invented this year. Every location on brand, every campaign live in minutes, every dollar accounted for.
CRISIS COPILOT
Respond, quickly and accurately.
Trained on your crisis plans long before you need them. On the worst day it drafts the statement, the release, even the voice, in moments instead of meetings.
Commissions
Some problems deserve their own software.
Alongside our products we take a small number of commissions: bespoke platforms for brands and agencies who have outgrown what they can buy off the shelf. We have replaced legacy channel marketing systems for national contractor networks and built local marketing engines serving thousands of locations.

Ink
Occasional writing on intelligent software, brands and the strange new ways the world hears about you.
About
The future gets built in small rooms. This is one of them.
Octopolis is run by Elijah Kleinsmith, who has spent the last 15 years in the world of marketing and advertising building brand and marketing systems: local platforms behind thousands of locations, AI programs for national brands and too many hours inside software that deserved to be replaced.
The name. Six hundred million years ago our line split from a worm’s. Evolution grew a mind twice, from scratch, and the second one built a city in Jervis Bay that nobody thought to look for until 2009. Scientists called it Octopolis. A third mind arrived a few years ago. We build with other minds.
The door’s open.
